 Radio (amateur radio option)    April 9, 2011 

 Computers    April 30, 2011    Course FULL  (Scouts should have experience using a Computer for more than playing games as they will need to complete projects at one of the SPARK Lodge computers.)

 Railroading    May 14, 2011 

 Electricity    June 18, 2011    Course FULL  (Scouts will be drawing a floor plan of SPARK Lodge locating all of the electric outlets, switches, etc. and will be turning circuit breakers on and off in the circuit panel at SPARK Lodge.  As always, they will be supervised for this exercise.)

 Computers    September 17, 2011    Course FULL  This merit badge course is subject to change to a new merit badge course if we have experienced counselors available for Robotics if it is released in the Spring of 2011.  (Scouts should have experience using a Computer for more than playing games as they will need to complete projects at one of the SPARK Lodge computers.)

 Radio (amateur radio option)    November 5, 2011

 Weather    November 26, 2011    (Requirement 8 and 9 are to be done before coming to camp.  Email the counselor before beginning these requirements.  If you attend the National Weather Service Open House, take the tour, and find out what type of weather is most dangerous or damaging to your community, and how severe weather and flood warnings reach the homes in your community, to complete requirement 8b.)

The demand for these courses is usually high but we have been able to get all Scouts into at least one course of their choice-if they register early.

Do not send any money at this time.  Upon acceptance of your application, you will be notified to send your course registration fee to confirm your reservation. 

Information that you provide to us on this form will not be shared with any outside agency or individual.  From time to time publicity photographs are taken at SPARK Lodge; while you may be in one or more of these photographs, your identity will not be revealed without your permission.
