2010 Program Schedule

Dates listed as Camp Program are reserved for Units (pack, troop, crew, or post)
camping at Musser Scout Reservation that
would like to visit SPARK Lodge
for a demonstration of Amateur Radio.

Normal hours of operation are: Saturday's 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Merit badge course's are: 9:00 a.m. sharp to approximately 3:30 p.m.
Extended hours for the annual Jamboree-on-the-Air, always the third full
weekend of October.  (See JOTA page for more information.)

Provisional merit badge classes are limited to no more
than three(3) Scouts, from an individual unit.

are also subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.

18-Sep-10 Camp Program - SPARK Lodge NEW Antenna Raising to replace antenna's that were destroyed when the tree feel.  9:30 a.m. start time.
25-Sep-10 NOAA National Weather Service Forecast Office (Philadelphia/Mount Holly) Open House. This is a Great Opportunity for Boy Scout Patrols/Troops and Venturing Crews to see what the National Weather Service is all about.  Boy Scouts can complete requirements for Weather merit badge by attending the open house, taking the tour, and asking questions related to requirement 8b.

Prerequisite - Requirements 8 and 9  must be completed before attending this merit badge course and documentation of completion is required.  Scouts not completing requirements 8 and 9 before attending this course will not be able to complete the merit badge and will receive a partial.
Requirement 8 can be completed by attending the NWS Open House which is the preferred method, Scouts will also receive booklets that would be helpful to them in preparing for requirement 9 at the NWS Office.
